Course Map

Hole 1 – Par 4 White 324m Yellow 282m

A fairly tame opening hole, made much easier if you hit the fairway. The green is slightly raised and it slopes from the back to the front and slightly to the right. A bunker front left of the green.

Hole 2 – Par 4 White 335m Yellow 309m

A dogleg to the right, which is predominately straight into the wind. Going left off the tee keeps the ball in play but gives you a longer shot in. The 2 fairway bunkers, one 150m from the green and the other 30m need to be avoided. Green is big and slightly raised which means if you are to miss the green, short is best.

Hole 3 – Par 5 White 426m Yellow 419m

A straight par 5, The right hand side should be avoided for the entirity of the hole. There are 5 fairway bunkers to be avoided off the tee and then 2 greenside ones. Green is big, look out for subtle breaks.

Hole 4 – Par 3 White 122m Yellow 124m

The shortest and arguably the easiest par 3 on the course. Bunkers are on the left and an almost magnetic bunker in the front. Green slopes from the back to front, it always seems to break more than you think.

Hole 5 – Par 5 White 457m Yellow 389m

A straight away par 5. A hard green to access with any kind of fairway wood/long iron. Short and right is the best place to miss the green. The long and skinny tiered green raised on both sides creates a tricky green complex.

Hole 6 – Par 4 White 324m Yellow 314m

Another straight hole where avoiding the trees either side is important. There is a deep bunker just in front of the green and a friendlier bunker on the right. The green is known to be very treacherous and some very subtle breaks to be careful of with short putts.

Hole 7 – Par 4 White 324m Yellow 291m

The first uphill hole of the round comes with the approach shot to the green, be sure to take an extra club. It’s the first hole with no bunkers on it. The front part of the green is reasonably flat with not much break. The top tier is fairly new and should be avoided if the pin is at the front.

Hole 8 – Par 4 White 310m Yellow 281m

Another straight par 4, straight down the hill to the furthest part away from the clubhouse. Kikuyu rough down the left can be tricky and OB down the right. The bunker left of the green should be avoided as it ‘s hard to keep the next shot on the green. The green has more slope than it appears.

Hole 9 – Par 3 White 128m Yellow 103m

A raised tee shot to a raised green. The wind decides what club you hit off this tee and it has been known to be a 4 iron one day and a pitching wedge the next. Green is massive and exposed to the wind which makes putting difficult.

Hole 10 – Par 5 White 463m Yellow 423m

Predominately straight down wind par 5. The hills to the left should be avoided with the tee shot and the trees on the left for the second shot but OB is all the way down the right hand side. There are 2 bunkers, one that is very popular on the front right and one front left. The green slopes from the back to the front and is slightly raised on each side.

Hole 11- Par 4 White 293m Yellow 287m

A dogleg par 4 to the right, OB all the way down the right. Tee is angled away from this and to keep balls out of the neighbouring properties. More room to the left than you think. Green has 2 bunkers, one on the left and one short right. Green slopes away from you as you approach.

Hole 12 – Par 4 White 399m Yellow 303m

A long hole which does dogleg to the left but the bigger hitters may take on the corner. The left hand rough should be avoided further up as the old macrocarpa causes issues. One bunker to the left of the green. Green slopes to the right more than you think.

Hole 13- Par 3 White 161m Yellow 147m

Traditionally the hardest par 3 on the course. The valley short of the green makes it hard to try land it short and run it up. The penalty area on the left should be avoided. 2 bunkers guard the front right hand side. Green is quite big but is pretty flat.

Hole 14 – Par 4 White 368m Yellow 267m

A straight par 4 that normally has the wind blowing from right to left. OB is all the way down the left. Down the right you have long rough or trees so staying straight is the key. 1 bunker on the left of the green and 2 on the right. The green has a ridge running down the middle of it so try to be on the right side of it depending on the pin placement.

Hole 15- Par 3 White 162m Yellow 129m

A straight forward Par 3, what you see is what you get. OB way left, right and long that shouldn’t come into play. There is a bank either side of the green which makes chipping and pitch shots more difficult if you are wayward off the tee. The green is big and fairly flat.

Hole 16 – Par 5 White 445m Yellow 412m

A par 5 which is straight and then doglegs to the right from about 150m out. Long rough on the left hand side and new trees on the right hand side from the dogleg. A greenside bunker short and left of the green is a hard shot. Another big green, slopes from the back to the front.

Hole 17 – Par 4 White 349m Yellow 289m

Running parallel to the 16th means this is straight and then doglegs left from about 150m out. The green has 3 bunkers surrounding it, one on the left and 2 on the right. This green is exposed so can be tricky putting with the wind.

Hole 18 – Par 4 White 329m Yellow 294m

If it is straight into the wind this relatively tame par 4 becomes more challenging. It is very hard to get a flat lie on this hole due to lots of undulations around. OB is down the left and behind the green. 2 bunkers, one left and right. Green slopes from the back to the front.
